Since the mid-1800s, Levi Strauss & Co. have been the iconic innovator of men’s trousers and jeans. During the 1960s, Levi’s announced something that would shake the fashion industry: they inserted a permanent crease into a pair of trousers, which later coined the name ‘Sta Prest Trousers. The Sta Prest Trousers, pronounced as “Stay” Prest, was a play on words for stay pressed, which meant no ironing was needed - perfect!
